I have been having my nails done at bl nail salon since they originally opened in Batavia as the location was very convenient for me. They have always been friendly and honest about availability. Yes, they do recommend the gel polish but my mother has had their regular polish for pedicures and it stays on for months so you do not need to feel obligated to have the gel. The background ambiance in the salon varies - I’ve been in with music playing and I’ve been in while the news was on it varies depending on the time of day and the salon owner’s preferences but that isn’t something that I’m concerned about because I feel that I am receiving a quality service

The shape and look of my daughter's nails was absolutely horrible, I didn't take her, but if I did they would be getting redone.....not at all what she asked for.

Me and my friend went there for prom nails and first of all they told us 50 dollars in the beginning then charged my friend 65 and me 75. Then shaved the crap out of our cuticles and made us bleed. They look un finished and look grown out as it’s only been a couple days, aswell as they are chunky. Then at the end, the guy was really rude to my friend. She only wanted to give a five dollar tip and ended up charging $10 to her card and we can understand him from what he was saying and he was getting really mad at us.

First time getting dip, 55$ for something that my cuticles never got touched.. not pushed back or cleaned up. The color I picked was 13 and somehow the bottle said 12 when I realized she probably did not give me the right color.. way too light on my nails, as if there is no polish. They do a great job on pedicures, I never get my nails done and this is one of the reasons. You spend a good chunk of change on self care and it should look better and be what you want. I don’t know if I’ll return, if so just for toes.

Despite all the mixed reviews, I've had nothing but good experiences with this place! I get the dip powder done on my nails and they turn out great every time! I've had the man once and his wife the other 2 times (I'm not sure what their names are) but they both do a great job! I've never had to wait too long to get in either. The place is very clean too.
